International day of Radiology 2015

This year, on November 8, the Sri Lanka College of Radiologists will celebrate the “120th anniversary of the discovery of the X-ray” by German physicist Wilhelm Röntgen and the “fourth International Day of Radiology (IDoR 2015)”, along with radiological societies the world over.

Paediatric imaging has been chosen as the theme of the day, to highlight the important role that radiology plays in the detection, diagnosis and management of a wide variety of diseases affecting children, and the special treatment younger patients need.

SLCR has organized a half day workshop on “Paediatric Imaging “ , on 8th of November 2015 from 9 .00 am to 1.00 pm at Hotel Galadari, Colombo.

Workshop will be conducted by Professor Johans Blickmen, Professor and vice chairmen, Dept of Imaging sciences URMC/ Professor and Radiologist in charge Golisono Childrens Hospital/USA.

Participants are entitled to claim CPD points as per laid down criteria of SLMA.

This workshop will be a quick revision for the candidates facing the upcoming examination in MD Radiology.
